Banned from public radio..........
So, the local NPR station has an afteroon talk show called The Conversation that has a new topic each day. Today's was "favorite websites."
I figured, what the heck, I'll call in and tell them about WWW.LAURENDANE.COM. I call, talk to their screener....tell him it's an author's website, she writes erotica with paranormal themes....that I like the website because the author tries to make it a fun experience, contests, a blog, etc. They put me on hold. I've called in many times before and this is always a prelude to putting you on the air.
Ten minutes later the screener gets back on the line and says that the producer of the show won't let me talk about the website because she's afraid they'll get complaints for talking about an author's website who writes erotica. He then asks if there is another website I'd like to talk about. "Um, not a chance" click.
